I was looking at the unconnected lines that you have listed, and I can identify who some of them belong to. They are not all unidentified.
for instance, under NJ, you have Charles Sommers and Charles Wm. Sommers - the lines are not correct, and they connect to my Henry and Dora line. I have all this information if you'd like it. I believe much of it is listed in the John Sommers link that you have under main families.
Let me know if you're interested in this information.

I also found it funny as my father-in-law is listed but he is really A Sommerstien and the family took the name Sommers when they escaped to Canada in the early 1920's.
My husband is also listed (not connected to his father) connected to wife who doesn't/never has existed. He also has children even though he never had and for that matter can't have children.
Go figure the wonders of the internet and genealogy.

Hello,
Re: Descendants of Pennsylvania 2
I noticed Anna H. Sommers, b. 1918, d.1993 is on your list. This is my mother but her married name was "Sommese". My father legally had the name changed to "Sommers" in the 1950's.
My mother was a "Langrell" and married my father Andrew F. Sommese in Philadelphia in 1945. They had 4 children; all born "Sommese" except for me. I was born after the name was legally changed to "Sommers".
